Salt Box
Hand made from exceptional pieces of slect cutoffs from Osgood Design furniture projects. Box Lids are all made from air dried salvaged claro walnut from the historic 120 year old trees that line Spreckels Boulevard - a corridor frequented by John Steinbeck as he worked for the Spreckels Sugar factory in his early years in the Central Coast. Boxes are joined using strong and eye catching box joints, lids are hinged on brass pins, and everything is finished with the Osgood Design oil and beeswax blend harvested and refined from our very own beehives in Santa Cruz, CA. Available in all Claro walnut, Monterey Cypress, and White Oak.
